Morgan K. Mottley joined Seiller Waterman as an associate in 2016 after working at the firm as a law clerk for a year. Morgan has a general practice with experience in a broad range of practice areas. She has assisted clients in intellectual property matters, in developing estate plans, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, living will directives, and charitable foundations and has experience advising practitioners in the healthcare industry on compliance and regulatory matters. She is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the Louisville Bar Association.
Morgan was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She earned her Juris Doctorate in 2016 from the University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law, graduating magna cum laude and in the top 10% of her class. During law school, Morgan was Notes Editor for the Journal of Law and Education, a research assistant to Labor and Employment Law Professor Ariana Levinson, and participated in the Law Clinic representing clients in Family Court. Prior to attending law school, Morgan obtained her Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a concentration in Paralegal Studies from the University of Louisville in 2013.
